How can I change my mobile number in SBI without visiting branch?

Visiting a bank branch just to change a mobile number is a hassle & daunting task. Especially in india. Everybody knows how indian bank branch staff rude behaviour.

Today I'm share you about how to  change my mobile number in SBI without visiting branch?

There are 3 different way , you can use to update your mobile number.

1 : Using internet banking + atm approvel method to change/update mobile number 

2 : Using internet banking + SMS from both old-new phone approvel method to change/update mobile number 

3 : Just visit SBI Bank branch 🏦

Method 1 : Using internet banking + atm approvel method to change/update mobile number without visiting branch 

Step 1 : Visit official website of sbi & Login

Step 2 : click on profile tab

Step 3 : Under profile tab you will see option to update mobile number. { Look screenshot }

Step 4 : click on "change mobile number domestic" for in india resident.

Step 5 : After click on change mobile number option you get a new screen to enter your new mobile number.

Step 6 : enter your new mobile number and verify it.

Step 7 : select a mode : use atm approvel method.

Step 8 : Now go to sbi ATM & use your ATM card and select 'service tab'. Enter your pin and select 'others' option and choose ‘Internet Banking Request Approval’ option and enter the 10-digit reference number for approval of the request.

Step 9 : On successful verify and completion of the process, the request will be fulfilled.

Once the validation is done, the new mobile number will be successfully updated 

2 : Using internet banking + SMS from both old-new phone approvel method to change/update mobile number 

Step 1 : Visit official website of sbi & Login

Step 2 : click on profile tab

Step 3 : Under profile tab you will see option to update mobile number. { Look screenshot }

Step 4 : click on "change mobile number domestic" for in india resident.

Step 5 : After click on change mobile number option you get a new screen to enter your new mobile number.

Step 6 : enter your new mobile number and verify it.

Step 7 : select a mode : use OTP approvel method.

Step 8 : You get a OTP sms on both of your mobile. new-old

Step 9 : Now you have to send SMS from both new and old mobile number in the following format = ACTIVATE (8 DIGIT OTP ) (13 DIGIT REFERENCE NUMBER) TO 567676 under 4hrs.

Step 10 : Once the SMS validation is successful, the new mobile number will be replaced with old number.

3 : Just visit SBI Bank branch 🏦

Step 1 : Visit your SBI Bank branch.

Step 2 : ask the counter for a form to change mobile number.

Step 3 : Fill up the form and submit.

Step 4 :  On successful verification and completion of the process, the request will be completed.

Once the validation is done, the new mobile number will be successfully updated
